NanoPress is the third online news source in Italy, with over 10M monthly readers and more than 5000 new articles every month covering every aspect of life: from fashion to luxury, from technology to automotive.
Reading news is one of the main activities users do on a iPad: Nextology accelerated Nanopress expansion strategy on this new platform.
Given the strong competition of other publishers already on iPad with the PDF transposition of their papery newspapers, Nextology ideated an application with a very advanced interface but very easy to use. Top quality in both Landscape and Portrait mode.
Nextology won another important technological challenge: the integration with multiple feeds (400+ news a day), coming from 30 news sites. The App allows now excellent navigation speed and offline utilization.
Nextology also enabled the excellent integration of a rich media advertising solution for iPad powered by Medialets (American company with clients such as The New York Times). Medialets had chosen Nextology to launch its solutions for the first time in Europe in March 2010 on NanoPress for iPhone.
A few hours after the launch, the App reached the 1st place in the App Store. After only 60 days, the results were largely exceeding expectations.
Furthermore, the quality of this service has been rewarded with investments by advertisers like Peugeot, Monte Paschi Siena and Renault.
